Planning Enforcement in Wales

The issue of enforcement in planning matters can be considerably emotive for those involved and can result in long and protracted redress within the courts. It is important that appellants and Councils are aware of current Government legislation and case law before embarking upon the redress process. How should an appellant prepare an enforcement appeal? What does a planning inspector require in decided whether or not an enforcement notice should stand or whether the enforcement appeal should be successful? The course looks at a number of areas within the planning enforcement arena :
